This morning, Wednesday morning, at the Ramada Hotel in Sulaimaniyah, an economic forum was held between regional companies and companies by the International Association of Industrialists and Employers, in which a large number of employers, companies and factories from The United States participated.
The purpose of the forum was to work together and develop economic and trade relations between the region and The Kurdistan Region.
Yassin Rahim, vice president of the Sulaimaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: "The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sulaimaniyah, in cooperation with the international industry and employers, was able to hold a conference in Sulaimaniyah. To do business, 40 companies from The Christian Country participated in the meeting with the local companies in Sulaimaniyah from nearby and were able to pay attention to joint work.
He also said the forum came after local companies in the Kurdistan Region visited Mersin.
Companies participated in food, industry, cleansing, cosmetics and cosmetics.
Hawkat, Nawaf Klich, general president of the Association of Industrialists and International Employers, said: "We want to strengthen the relationships we have with the businessmen and employers of the Kurdistan Region."
"We have been able to bring 40 different companies to Sulaimaniyah so that we can create joint business and industry work between us," he said.
"We are working to raise the level of trade with Iraq to 50 million dollars," he said.
At the meeting, which was attended by Haval Abubakr, the governor of Sulaimaniyah, said: "In such meetings, merchants from both sides will become familiar with each other's work and build strong relationships, and we have been able to trade with all countries in Sulaimaniyah province. Our trade has led us to have business relations on all sides."
"We support the green economy, which finds itself in the industry in order to increase exports and not rely on the oil sector," he said.
Bahar Kunjli, one of the founders of the group, says: "We have come to this forum from seventeen cities in Turkey, including food companies, agriculture, hotels, tourism, printing houses, construction, energy.
"Our welcome was shocking," he said. "I will not hide from you that some of our investors and employers were afraid to come to Iraq, but today we saw peace, stability and security with a beautiful hospitality."
